I had a craving for fried plums, since I saw Adina's little one with plums in her mouth :)) So I went to buy some plums and I started making fries like that .... like in Germany :)) You know it's really good, I was super excited!

  • 100 ml oil
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • peel of a lemon
  • 400-500 g plums
  • a little butter and flour for the baking form

RECIPE PREPARATION Pflaumenkuchen - Plum Cake:

It's very simple to make: lay eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar for about 10 minutes until melted. Add the oil, then the flour mixed with the baking powder and lemon peel. The result is a mixture quite thick, almost like a cake.

Wash the plums, cut them in four with a sharp knife and remove the seeds. Wipe with an absorbent towel if necessary.

Grease a tart pan with butter and sprinkle with flour, then pour the dough. Arrange the plums on top and put in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes or until nicely browned. Check with the toothpick that the worktop is baked.

Powder with sugar when cooled, portion and serve.

The cream cheese and prune cake is delicious. You can prepare it either for an ordinary day or for a special event. The cream cheese perfectly complements the cocoa top.

Countertop ingredients:

  • 6 eggs, 5 tablespoons wheat flour
  • 5 tablespoons potato flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa, 170 g sugar

Cream ingredients:

  • 2 sachets of whipped cream
  • 400 ml milk, 2 lemon jellies
  • 400 gr cream cheese

Ingredients for decoration:

  • 400 gr prunes
  • 200 gr dark chocolate
  • 100 ml sweet cream 36%
  • 1 sachet of strawberry jelly

Method of preparation:

For starters we will prepare the countertop. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a mixer. Gradually add the sugar, then the yolks, one by one.In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa.Pour the mixture into the egg bowl and mix lightly with a spoon.

Put the dough obtained in a rectangular baking tray. Bake the dough for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.Soak the prunes in hot water. Dissolve the lemon jellies in 200 ml of hot water and let them cool.

Beat the whipped cream powder with 400 ml of milk. Add the cream cheese and mix well. While stirring, slowly pour the jelly.

Cut the baked and cooled countertop in half. We put a countertop in the baking tray. Pour the cream obtained over the countertop in the tray.Cover the cream with the second top.

Finely chop the plums.Dissolve the strawberry jelly in 100 ml of hot water. Pour the sweet cream into a saucepan and heat it (do not let it boil). We also add the broken chocolate in the pieces. Stir until it melts. Then add the strawberry jelly. At the end, add the plums to the melted chocolate.Let the chocolate icing cool. Then pour the cold icing over the cocoa top. The cake is ready and can be served. Good appetite!


Rhubarb and plum cake

I prepared a cake inspired by a very popular pastry in Poland and it is really delicious. It's called drożdżówka, meaning yeast dough and is one of the most complicated words in the language, but I practiced it for a long time at all pastries. Drożdżówka resembles our gooseberries and is most often covered with sweet cheese, pudding, apples, plums or blueberries when the season is right.

The sugar in the dough and the crunchy topping is balanced by the sour taste of the fruit.

Dough: 500 gr sifted flour, 150 ml milk, 80 gr sugar, 25 gr active yeast, 100 gr butter, 2 eggs (at room temperature), ¼ teaspoon salt, ½ half teaspoon natural vanilla extract, 3 rhubarb stalks, 500 gr ripe plums

Crispy topping / crumble: 100 gr sugar, 150 gr flour, 50 gr cold butter, 50 gr almond flakes

Heat 75 ml of milk. Mix the yeast, 40 g of sugar and 100 g of flour, then add the milk, which must be warm and not hot. Cover the bowl and leave to rise for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter with the rest of the milk and leave to cool.

Add the rest of the flour, sugar, buttered milk, beaten eggs and salt. Combine all ingredients and form a ball. Knead for a few minutes and place in a bowl greased with oil.

The dough should double in volume in a warm place away from current. This stage lasts at least an hour.

While the dough is swelling, prepare the fruit. Rhubarb is cut into cubes and plums into quarters.

Line a tray of approximately 25 & # 21535 cm with baking paper. Put the dough in the tray and spread it with your fingers towards the corners of the tray. The dough is elastic and very easy to shape.
Decorate with fruit and leave to rise a second time.

Finally, mix the flour with the sugar, add the diced cold butter and press with your fork or fingertips. Sprinkle the topping over the fruit, followed by the almond flakes.

Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes, until the edges turn golden.


Wash the plums, break them in half, remove the seeds and sprinkle 50 g of sugar over them.
Rub the butter butter, add salt and the rest of the sugar and continue to mix until the sugar melts. Incorporate the flour mixed with baking powder and zeamil and, at the end, the beaten egg whites.

Grease a pan with butter, sprinkle the breadcrumbs and spread half of the dough. Place in the hot oven and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees C, then remove from the oven. Cover with prunes, spread the rest of the dough on top and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Bake for another 40 minutes and when ready, powder with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla.


1. Knead a dough from the above ingredients, cover with a towel and let rise in the heat for 30 minutes.

2. Wash the plums, break them in half and remove the seeds. Put the milk, sugar and vanilla sugar on the fire and when it boils, add the semolina and lemon peel and let it swell for about 5 minutes, over low heat. Remove the pot from the heat, incorporate the yolks and allow the composition to cool.

3. Knead the dough once more, spread it in a greased tray, lifting it about 2 cm on the edges, cover and let it rise for another 15 minutes.

4. Crush the biscuits and sprinkle over the dough. Beat the egg whites, incorporate them into the semolina composition and spread the cream thus obtained over the dough, and place the plums on top.

5. Put the cake in the oven and bake for 65-70 minutes at 175 degrees C. After about 45 minutes, cover with aluminum foil so that it does not burn on the surface. After removing from the oven, sprinkle with sugar and vanilla sugar and allow to cool.


Plum cake and cheese with seasonal fruits

We take advantage of new seasonal plums to make a rich cake with fruit and cheese. The ideal cheese to make this cake is a white and pasty cheese, such as ricotta, Philadelphia or mascarpone. Because it has fruit, this cake goes well as a dessert, but it is also a very complete dessert for breakfast.

Ingredient: 4 eggs, 125 grams of sugar, 100 grams of flour, 125 grams of butter, 250 grams of white cheese, 75 grams of almond flour, 3 tablespoons corn flour, vanilla, 1 sachet of baking powder

Method of preparation: Mix the eggs well with the sugar and cheese and add the flour with the yeast, softened butter and vanilla meat. Once the dough is homogeneous, we put it on a mold greased with flour and butter. On the dough, arrange the plums in the form of half-moon sheets and bake at 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Cool on a shelf and sprinkle with icing sugar.

MARBLED CAKE WITH CHEESE AND PLUMS

Method of preparation

Step 1: The preparation method is a classic one, and we have to start with butter (necessarily soft) and sugar. I used powdered sugar this time to make my life easier, and to reduce the time of mixing sugar with butter.
Okay, after mixing the butter with the sugar, add the yolks one by one and mix well after each one.
Add the sifted flour together with the baking powder, alternating with the milk, and mix at low speed.
Beat the egg whites hard with a pinch of salt, then lightly incorporate them into the composition. So far nothing difficult.

Step 2: Divide the composition into two parts, however equal they may be. I left a little more for the brown part, because I thought that if it is down, it will take more quantity to look as high as the white one. I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense, but that's what I thought: P. Ok, so in the (slightly) more part add the two tablespoons of cocoa and mix lightly.

Step 3: Wallpaper a 24 / 24cm square tray with baking paper and pour the brown part. Carefully place the white part over it and level it.
We cut the plums into quarters and "stick" them in the tray from place to place. Bake at 170 degrees for 25-30 minutes, you see depending on how it swells / browns / smells in the kitchen. Cang is ready, take it out on a grill to cool.

Step 4: For the cream we put all the ingredients in the blender and mix them well, there is no point in complicating ourselves and taking them one by one because we would complicate ourselves unnecessarily. Spread the cream over the cooled cake, portion it and put half a plum on top of each slice, and that was about it.

Step 5: Initially I thought of decorating with caramel, but I said it wouldn't make sense to load it extra, and the fruits are more effective, especially when it's their season. So I stuck to the fruit! Simple and fast, that's how I would characterize this cake. but I would also add - of course - delicious! It could have been different ???


Cake with plums, semolina and breadcrumbs & # 8211 a special dessert

The cake with plums, semolina and breadcrumbs is very tasty. I received this recipe from my sister-in-law who is crazy about plum cakes. I tried it and I instantly fell in love with it.

Method of preparation:

Heat a little oil in a saucepan. Add breadcrumbs and sugar and cook for a few minutes over medium heat. Stir constantly. Be careful not to burn the sugar.

Remove the plum seeds and cut them into small pieces. Sprinkle sugar over them and put them on the fire. When it starts to boil, take the pot off the heat. Add the jam and mix well to combine the ingredients.

To prepare the semolina, put the milk and sugar in a saucepan on the fire. When it starts to boil, add the semolina and stir until it thickens. Take the pot off the heat and add the margarine. Stir until completely melted.

Immediately beat the egg with a fork and pour it into the previously prepared semolina. Mix everything very well.

In a round tray (diameter 23 cm) lined with baking paper, pour half of the breadcrumbs mixture. Smoothes easily. Put half of the semolina over the breadcrumbs, then add the plum mixture.

Pour the rest of the semolina and the rest of the breadcrumbs over the plums. Allow the cake to cool, then refrigerate. After a few hours, take the cake out of the fridge, cut it into slices and serve it with your loved ones. Good appetite and increase cooking!


Plum cake

Wash the plums and let them drain. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Rub the foam 200 g butter with sugar, egg yolks and salt.

Gradually add the milk, vanilla essence and 400 g sifted flour together with baking powder. Beat the egg whites and incorporate them into the composition. The fruits are cut in halves and the seeds are removed.

Grease the pan with margarine and line with breadcrumbs. Pour the composition and put the fruit on top. In a saucepan, melt the rest of the butter and wet the cake, sprinkling the fruit, then sprinkle with vanilla sugar.

Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake the plum cake for 45-50 minutes. After it has cooled in the pan, sprinkle the plum cake with powdered sugar.
