Cooking English ketchup:

Step 4: Cook the ketchup.The processed tomatoes, celery and onions are put in an enameled pan, add half the water specified in the recipe (preferably boiled, room temperature), put on a slow fire. The above ingredients are cooked in an enameled bowl until soft, continuously stirring with a wooden spatula, avoiding burning. Estimated Cooking Time - 40-50 minutes.
Step 5: Wipe the vegetables.Wipe boiled vegetables through a fine sieve (for convenience, you can use a blender). Again we put the mixture on a slow fire, but with the addition of a bag of spices, which includes: vinegar, salt, sugar. Cook with stir frequently with a wooden spatula, avoiding burning, until all the water has evaporated. Turn off the gas. Remove the bag of spices from the pan.
Step 6: Pour the finished ketchup into cans (bottles).We pour hot ketchup into sterile bottles and seal. Store the sauce in cool location.
