Ingredients for the preparation of hedgehogs in sour cream

Minced meat 800 gr
Rice 1 cup
Chicken egg 1 pc
Sour cream 400-450 gr
Carrot 1 pc

Cooking hedgehogs in sour cream:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients for the minced meat.

We take rice and pour it into a plate, pour cold water there and leave it for a while. Peel the onions and finely chop. Then we send it to a chopped frying pan, fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. We return to the rice, mix and drain the water. Peel the carrots and grate with small holes.

Step 2: prepare the minced meat.

Add salt, mix with rice and onion, spices can be added to taste. Add a raw egg to this mixture, mix.

Step 3: form the hedgehogs.

Pour about 1 liter of water into the pan, bring to a boil. We form hedgehogs from minced meat and throw into boiling water. The size of the hedgehogs depends on your preference.

Step 4: cook the hedgehogs in sour cream.

Add sour cream, butter and grated carrots to the pan. Mix gently, add salt. Reduce the temperature so that the hedgehogs evenly simmer for 10 minutes in an open pan, close the lid loosely and hold for 15-20 minutes. The gravy should slightly thicken.

Step 5: serve the hedgehogs in sour cream.

We take the finished hedgehogs out of the pan and arrange them on plates. You can serve them as a separate dish, or with a side dish. Garnish with greens or grated cheese. A delicious dinner is ready! Enjoy your meal!
